The rooms were very clean and modern, with air conditioning. The building is a beautiful old building in a great location. We were very close to the Colosseum and within walking distance of all of Rome's sights. **If you do not have a vehicle, I would recommend this hotel. If you have a vehicle, I do not recommend this hotel!!
The hotel resides within Rome's restricted driving zone. For those traveling to Rome with a vehicle, you may have heard that hotels have the ability to request waivers from the local traffic authorities to allow your vehicle to drive into and out of the restricted areas. Be advised!!! This hotel does not offer this service, despite three emails requesting information on bringing a vehicle. She not only did not tell me they don't offer the driving permit, but failed to tell me that the restriction expires after 6pm, when I told her we would be arriving between 5 and 6. She proceeded to tell me that it was not her responsibility to provide this information, despite the fact that I had asked for it. Clear the driving permit with any hotel in Rome before booking it! It is misleading that Opera Rooms 66 states that there is parking available nearby, suggesting that they, too, offer this service. We ultimately had to buy our waiver from the Best Western. The traffic censors are camera operated, and scan every license plate that passes through them. They have up to one year to mail a ticket anywhere in the world. Also, it can be difficult to check in. There is no reception, so be sure to take down the **cell phone number** (there are two numbers listed) if you book here. The reception is actually at a different hotel, Hotel Martini, located just a block away in case they are unreachable. However, this is not noted on the website as a backup option. As a result, we waited over half an hour to check in on the street with our bags when we could have walked over there. There is a phone number listed on the building for Opera Rooms 66, but it does not work. Overall, the communication is very poor, and the parking service at hotels is crucial when driving in Rome, so this was very disappointing, and cost us our entire first night.

Location is excellent. Rooms are bright and cheery. Some rooms face into a garden, which makes them very quiet. The owners of the cafe where the breakfast is were wonderful - amazing cappucinos, incredible pastries and hand squeezed orange juice.
On Sunday our room was not cleaned and we had run out of toilet paper. (Had to search for the cleaning closet - luckily found it unlocked). Check in was confusing - no one answered the bell at noon and I had to incur roaming charges to call the number provided in the reservation email. (Actually had to call twice, and had to wait outside with luggage for over 30 mins).

The location is excellent, near via Nazionale and metro Republica, walking distance from the Termini station. The room (orange) was clean and modern good air conditioning. The continental breakfast was OK. The reception and breakfast is located at the hotel Martini one block away at via Nazionale, this isn't a problem at all. The staff at hotel Martini was nice and helpful.
We ran out of toilet paper, had to ask for more at the reception at hotel Martini. During our 6 nights long stay the towels were changed only ones.

modern, clean centrally located room. Must check in first around the block, but it is an easy walk. Booked.net website said check in must be by 9:00 PM - that was not the case for us - we hustled from the airport to get there, but the manager said check in was fine anytime. There is a water cooler in the hallway for hot and cold water, and the room has simple breakfast fare and a small frig. side. Pleasant and private, only 3 other rooms across and down the hall.
room on the small side

We loved our stay there! :-) Hotel-Staff is very friendly, our room was very clean, quiet, air-conditioned and we even had a little fridge. The location was great. Every morning we walked to a little bakery nearby and fortunately, everyday there was a street-market, a street away that provided us with fresh tomatoes and mozarella, as well as, other wonderful fresh produce:) We would stay there again - most definitely!!!
OK, there is not much to say about what we didn't like except, one tiny little thing: They don't provide you with enough toilet paper. ;-)

The location is good. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
You don't have a reception in the building but one 2 blocks away. They provide around 5 keys for different areas in the building. The safe is in the closet but it is not attached to anything, so you can put the safe under you arm and leave with everything that is inside it. The breakfast is horrible, we gave away all the items every morning the beggers waiting on the bus stops.

I liked the cleanliness and color. The room was bright.
The breakfast is not good. But it is not really that good anywhere in Italy.

Convenient, friendly, clean. Nice modern design and high ceilings!
You need to check in down the street at a different Hotel. No problem for us, but just be aware in advance if you book here.

The room was nicely designed and renovated. Even though there was no staff staying at the b&b, the information was completely available in the room. The room was always cleaned every day, it was super nice! The WiFi worked very fast. The location of the hotel was perfect. We only had to walk for around 5-10 minutes to Termini Station. We could also reach Colosseum by foot for 15-20 minutes. There were also metro stations near the hotel (Termini or Republicca) and easily reached by foot. Overall, it was a nice experience staying at B&B Opera Rooms 66.
This is not regarding the b&b itself, but more to the check in experience. We had to check in at different hotel (at Hotel Martini), which was informed earlier..so it was OK for us. But when we arrived there, the elevator of the Hotel Martini was broken. So I had to climbed up to the 4th stage (where the hotel resides) to do the check in and go to our B&B (different building). It was kind of tiring, since we arrived late at night and had had a long journey previously. Luckily, we were helped by one of the nice staff hotel. (He even took us to our B&B room, it was very kind of him).
